Earthmoving Equipment and Commercial Truck Evaluations.
The single greatest pressure on any evaluation is to have a look at the first cost value to a depreciation market or replacement value over a year-to-year cycle. Evaluations can balance the limitations of first-cost considerations on total comfort, satisfaction, and long-term costs.
The Benefits of Professional Asset Valuation
The main reason to work with a valuer is to ensure that the right price is paid by the client and the right amount is paid by the insurer to the client. The use off a professional valuator is a benefit for the insured and insurer. This is one of the base reasons for valuation, but the benefits include much more than this.
Valuation of equipment helps businesses in more than one way:
- Insurance premiums
- Taxes
- Financial audits
- Collateral
- Earning and investment potential
How does valuation tie in with your broker and insurance partner?
- Correct values – new, market and replacement
- Correct asset descriptions
- Faster pay outs on claims
- Prevent legal matters on asset and value issues.
What should a good evaluation cover?
The inspection begins with the overall physical condition of the machine. Cab, frame, body, booms, lift arms, everything is carefully looked at to see whether the gauges are working properly, and to identify any leaks. We check for loose joints, cracked booms, and cracked or chafing hoses. In addition, all fluid cavities are sampled and analyzed. Market related value certificate and replacement value.
